Churches & Small Groups

icon_churchesCHURCHES AND SMALL GROUPS are the beacons of hope for ProAct! From serving meals to hosting Recreation Nights for our youth to leading workshops and service projects in our partner schools, there are a variety of ways for your church to get involved!

We do welcome volunteers under the age of 18, but must be accompanied by a parent or adult while volunteering.

Level 2: Volunteer Opportunities for Churches & Small Groups

One-time, semi-regular, or regular volunteers with no long-term commitment – no application required!

Step Two: Fill out the Small Group/Church Waiver.

Step Three: Follow the appropriate ‘Next Steps’ listed on each.

 

Level 1: Volunteer Opportunities for Churches & Small Groups

Personal interaction with our Community Partners and Youth Program Participants, both one-time and on a regular basis – application required!

Step One: Read information below about current volunteer opportunities.

Step Two: Fill out Church & Small Group Volunteer Application. Submit it our Volunteer Committee at volunteer@proactcp.org. A member of our Volunteer Committee team will review the application and then connect with you!

Suggested Step Three: Have a Church or Group Leader complete our online volunteer training. Please select this link, Pro(ACT) 101, to receive access to our online training where you will learn more about topics such as: Who are we? Who do we serve? What type of youth do we work with? What is public service? What will I be doing as a Level 1 Individual? How can I best connect with and serve those in Pro(ACT)’s programs? How is Pro(ACT) addressing the issues our youth are dealing with in our city? And much more!
